Purim holiday at Heritage Pointe – Celebrating the joyous Jewish holiday of Purim, Rabbi Michoel Goldin of the Chabad of Teaneck recently visited with a gathering of residents at the Heritage Pointe of Teaneck full-service retirement community. Purim marks the Jewish people’s salvation from destruction in Persia, and during the observance at Heritage Pointe, Rabbi Goldin undertook the traditional reading from the Script of Esther. In addition – following the custom of observing Purim with costumes – he gave the ancient celebration a cutting-edge, green-haired twist.
